Valentin Herleth has been working as a student assistant at the Graduate School „Konfigurationen des Films“ at Goethe University Frankfurt since October 2023. He is currently studying for a Master’s degree in Film Culture.
In addition to his work at the university, he works for cultural institutions and on film productions. Most recently he has worked on various film exhibitions. Further work experience includes film festivals, cinemas and a film archive. In his B.A. he studied time-based media at Mainz University of Applied Sciences.
His research interests include historical film culture research and memory studies.
