Following up on last year’s productive workshop on Amateur Film at the University of Gothenburg, the next event of this kind takes place at the Philipps University Marburg (May 24-25, 2018). Organized by Yvonne Zimmermann and Alexander Stark, the International Workshop on Amateur Film is dedicated to Researching Amateur Film Cultures – Methods and Materials. The workshop gathers senior scholars and young researchers from around Europe who work in the field of amateur film research and serves as an informal platform for networking and the exchange of knowledge and experience.
