The dossier “Pacing Airports“ engages with the airport as a complex configuration of moving images, bodies as well as objects–neck pillows, screen fields, military patches, meditation rooms, maps, and other forms of guidance. It considers pacing as a method for doing film and media studies in situ. The texts of this dossier were produced and presented in the context of our exploratory workshop “Pacing FRAport,” which was the closing event of a three-part event series framed as “laboratories” and took place November 28th to 30th, 2018.
